How can Dr. Larry work with you?

Imagine a scenario in which you and your doctor get together to discuss not what’s wrong with you, but what’s right with you, and how to use natural nutrition and exercise to become your best and healthiest self. Unfortunately, that’s not what happens at most regular doctor’s visits.

Dr. Larry’s Medical Coaching isn’t like any traditional doctor’s visit you’ve ever had. He knows that there are individuals who desire personal, in depth health coaching that can’t be obtained in the normal medical office visit experience. His 30-year career as a family physician combined with 25 years as an avid marathon runner enable him to offer expertise and coaching to those clients who want an extra cheerleader, coach and teacher to support and guide them on their journey to fitness.

What are your goals for exercise, nutrition, and general health? Taking into account your lifestyle, previous injuries, any medications you take and any medical conditions you have, Dr. Larry will work with you to achieve these goals, whether they are losing weight, conditioning for training or increasing aerobic capacity. You’ll get to work with Dr. Larry one-on-one, either in person or via video chat. Following the initial consultation, you’ll have a direct line to Dr. Larry via phone, email and video chat.

Who is Dr. Larry?

Dr. Larry is a Board Certified, California licensed family physician who was the class Valedictorian at Chicago Medical School and has over the course of his 30-year career addressed the medical needs of adults and children, delivered over 1,000 babies and cared for patients in hospitals as well as home settings. Throughout all of his medical practice, it’s remained important to him to encourage good health via lifestyle choices as opposed to medical intervention.

As an avid runner for 25 years, Dr. Larry has completed 15 full marathons. Working through his own injuries during training and performance, he’s learned how to better manage nutrition issues. Since he began his marathon lifestyle, Dr. Larry lost 30 pounds, lowered his elevated blood pressure and maintained normal cholesterol levels all without requiring medication to manage these conditions.

Of course, marathoning might not be your goal, but as long as fitness, health and nutrition are what you’d like to achieve, Dr. Larry can help.

Dr. Larry’s goal is to combine his medical expertise and personal fitness knowledge to offer clients the type of Medical Coaching that goes far beyond what any single family doctor or fitness trainer could provide.
